THE EAGLE he clasps the crag with crooked hands
close to the sun in lonely lands
ringed with the azure world,he stands
the wrinkled sea beneath him crawls
he watches from his mountain walls
and like a thunderbolt he falls

holding a rock in his hand, like hands of an old man.
is far in the sky next to the sun standing strong like a king.
it sees the sea calm and straight, because it is far.
it can not hear the sea waves, because it is far.
and seen from his mountain because it has sharp sight.
strongly and quickly fall to the ground
like lightning because it is strong and fast.
